So it’s been awhile since I’ve written here. I guess I just haven’t had a lot to tell the world about these days.
I don’t know what has changed in me in the last month, but I feel lost these days. I find myself worrying about silly little things and in my head I tend to make more out of things then what they need to be, basically blowing things out of proportion in my head. These days I don’t know where my strength has gone, where is my happiness? I have to find my strength and happiness again, it was here only a short time ago weeks really. I am fine when I’m with others but it’s sitting alone in my room or car that I have the most sadness. I want to stress that I’m not sad about my ex. That ship and the sadness for it sailed so please don’t tell me that it’s the break up coming back in my head…I’m sad because of the uncertainty of my life right now, the feeling that I am a burden or pain to people.
This really should be one of the happiest times in my life. I’m out dating, my job is good (or at least I haven’t been told otherwise), and I have great friends.
Well it’s 9:40am on Friday and I have completed so many tasks already. Got my dentist appointment taken care of…given a clean bill of dental health, woo hoo! Paid some bills, getting the rest of my packing done and I’m off to meet up with Mark to head out to Groveland Oaks for some camping fun! Stories and pictures to follow on Sunday!
Ok odd title I know but there is a great story behind it…
Some friends and I have been going Night Glow Golfing at a local golf course. You use clear golf balls with mini glow sticks in them, you can wear as much or as little additional Glow supplies as wanted and that is the only light you have…you golf in pure darkness. Unless you bring a flashlight your only guide for the course is the line of glowsticks to mark the cart path…because remember golf carts don’t have lights!
Well while I was crazily driving my golf cart around looking for my stupid little glowing ball I inadvertantly ran my golf cart into and then ontop of a tree stump. I hit it at full speed so my body feels like I was in a minor car accident, lol! My back has been sore all day!
Both times we’ve done this our group has had the most glow accessories by far…we get “Glow Nutty”. We really want to “trick” out our carts more, but someone told us the rangers don’t like you to do that and make you take the stuff off.
Anyhow, here are a few pictures from last night:
Well it seems it’s been decided…we’re going on a cruise! So far the confirmed travelers are: Me, Mark, Lori, and Cliff…we’re hoping Josh and Angela can come too!
This is actually the same cruise Lori, Cliff, my ex and I took last October, but this time we’re heading out December 1st and returning the 5th. It’s a 4 night Royal Caribbean cruise on Majesty of the Seas. We will leave out of Miami on Dec. 1st, travel to Nassau, Bahamas, Coco Cay (RC’s Private Island), and a day in Key West, FL before heading back to Miami. I am so excited. I didn’t think I’d want to take the exact same cruise again, but there were so many things we didn’t get to see or do the first time around so this will hopefully give us the chance to see and do more things in each of the ports!
The countdown begins: 120 Days until departure!
